For the first time, the Hess family Guestbooks have been researched, deciphered and made available by Manifesto Press.
Worked on by a team of 25, to produce a bilingual edition, with collaboration between editors, translators, printers, designers and communicators across three countries.
Guestbooks presents a unique insight into the life of Weimar Germany, expulsion and exile and now, return.
This is Volume Four of the Hans Hess Series.
Published through a collaboration between the Hans Hess Foundation, Bauhaus-Archiv and Manifesto Press.
Manifesto Press heads to Frankfurt Book Fair!

Across the week we'll be joined by authors, artists, publishers, historians and organisers for discussions, launches and book signings.
