About Manifesto
Manifesto Press was started by veteran designer, writer and activist Nick Wright who now serves as chair as we move to a second phase of development and expansion as a cooperative.
We have been publishing for 25 years and during that time, begun to have a major impact on the reading and thinking of workers and especially trade unionists. The Manifesto Press has expanded to audio books and is about to publish ebooks. We host major events and conferences and partner with Red Star Media to produce podcasts that are valued around the world. Of especial importance to us are the book launch events and speaking tours where writers meet and discuss their work with their readers.
The maxim of Manifesto, that we trade in ideas as well as books has brought thousands to follow us on social media, become regular readers/buyers and attenders at our events. Manifesto currently has nearly 30 new writers working on manuscripts and a full suite of audio books in preparation. We urge you to follow us, because there is always something new and of value in the Manifesto atelier.
