Manifesto Press was hugely proud to back one of our authors, Judith Cazorla, as she launched  'A Woman's Place Is in the Struggle' - a new project featuring live events across Britain. The launch took place at the UNISON conference.

Judith was joined by Anita Halpin - journalist, lifelong union activist, and former TUC General Council member and Sally Groves - Manifesto author and one of the famous Trico strikers,  Bernadette Keaveney - Assistant Business Manager at the socialist daily Morning Star newspaper, Victoria Holmes - poet, journalist, and Roma community activist and Hilary Cave - author, strike organiser, and National Union of Miners education officer.

The launch was a great success, with a packed audience and many requests to get involved. Manifesto is at its best when its authors are out discussing politics with their readers.
